Here is a quick and simple maintenance project for the snowbound. The Dorade Cowls that came with my SS 30 NEDAVERA are bronze, and have a very nice patina on he outside. However the inside painted finish needed some TLC, being a faded painted white.

I taped off the edges and lightly sanded the insides with some 220 grit sandpaper. I had some Rustoleum “Gloss Bright Red” paint leftover from another project (refinishing my father in law’s 65 year old toolchest), which was the perfect shade of red for that “classic” Dorade look!
